Mapping data from the latest releases of Sensis,
MapInfo and Navteq (on request) provide you highly accurate turn by turn
navigation to virtually any metropolitan address in Australia. Multiple
data sets can be installed and easily switched from within C1 Mobile to provide
on-road and off road navigation along with navigation in foreign countries with
no additional application installation or technical challenges.
Data Updates are available from the major mapping
suppliers around every 6 to 12 months and we strive to ensure we supply the very
latest version of data available from your chosen map data licensee. New data
can be pushed to your fleet using the AutoUpdate function within C1 Mobile
Manager.
Data correction suggestions can be sent directly to
support@c1au.com for
handling directly to the map data provider.
GPS
Accuracy is currently around 5-10m but does vary from time to time depending
on weather conditions and satellite geometry. C1 Mobile incorporates
auto-snap-to-map features to ensure the best possible accuracy in all
conditions.
1) GPS data
is used by C1 Mobile to show your position and speed on the mapping data.
2) It can
also send driver position reports and handle location based job messaging.
3) C1 Mobile
uses the NMEA GPS data sentences from your onboard GPS solution to navigate.
4) You can
enter a destination by
·
selecting addresses in your Dayplanner,
·
simply choose an address from your Favourites (including
historical addresses) or
·
Create a list of optimised jobs and move from customer site to
customer site with ease.
5) If you do
not select a destination or accept any jobs, C1 Mobile will continue to track
your progress but will be unable to suggest routes, ETA’s etc.
DO NOT use
C1 Mobile in such a way that it may interfere with the safe operation of your
vehicle.
C1 Mobile
contains a DriveSafe mode which selectably will disable the screen controls or
blank the screen whilst the vehicle is in motion above a set speed.
It may be an
offence under your contract or OH&S guidelines to interfere with these features
or attempt to bypass them. (They may be locked by your supervisor under
password protection.).
C1 Mobile as
standard uses Sensis Australian consumer routing data and is not designed for
use in emergency vehicles or those transporting passengers where routing
inaccuracies may lead to personal injury, death or environmental damage.
Please ensure
that all road signs, road rules and traffic conditions are obeyed at all times –
regardless of any suggested directions provided by the routing system. C1 and
its supplies specifically disclaims all warranties, implied or express with
relation to fitness for purpose of the third party provided mapping data and
associated routing systems.
Installation of C1 Mobile is simple, seamless and requires
no user intervention – regardless of whether you have an existing version or
not.
To install or upgrade, simply run the “C1Mobile.msi”
installer on the CD or USB key media provided. The installer will take care of
the rest!
All enterprise fleet versions and site licenses are
activation-free.
The internet is NOT required to activate and no keying of
codes will be required.
[d.p1]
Quiet or
unattended installations are also possible using the appropriate Wise
installation switches.
Removal of C1 Mobile is simple, seamless and requires no
further user intervention
Simply follow the Uninstall link to remove all C1 Mobile
components.
[d.p2]

C1 Mobile contains two core speech engines. A high
quality recorded voice engine and the Microsoft Speech SDK engine which provides
the perfect combination of quality and flexibility.
Using the MS Speech SDK, you can also have C1 Mobile
recognise the majority of menu and interface options throughout the software.
Buttons marked with a yellow speech bubble can be speech activated by saying the
name on the button. Simple as that.
Speech
recognition can be invoked by speaking the text on the button with a yellow
speech bubble on the top right hand corner.
Inputting text on input fields: Speak out the title on the

and changes into spelling mode in which the user can spell out the required word
of number using the international radiotelephony spelling (NATO phonetic)
alphabet (eg. Alpha = A, Bravo = B, One = 1, Two = 2,..etc.) When you’re done
and want to go to the next field or use a command, speak ‘Spell complete’ which
